    Montu Bose
    Assistant Professor,
    Department of Business and Sustainability

    Dr. Bose is an Economist by training from University of Calcutta and Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He was the first Indian recipient of the prestigious GNHE (Global Network for Health Equity) Fellowship, during 2013-14. He has a Ph.D. in Health Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata. He has completed M.Phil.in Health Economics from the Department of Economics, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. His research interests include Environmental Health, Equity in Healthcare Access and Financing, Health Systems and Epidemiological Transition.

    Before joining TERI University, he was associated with Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) as a Research Associate for over two years. Earlier, he was also engaged as a UGC-DRS (University Grants Commission - Departmental Research Support) Project Fellow and as a Research Assistant at the Department of Economics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata during 2008-12. He has also served as a Research Assistant at the University of Jadavpur, Kolkata.
