Department of Business Sustainability
Dr Ritika Mahajan is a faculty member in the Department of Business Sustainability, TERI University. She completed PhD on "Management Education in India" as a Research Fellow in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2014. Her doctoral research was based on in-depth interviews with India"s leading institution builders in IIMs, IITs and other premier B-schools. A book on her doctoral work titled "Masters Speak" was published by Bloomsbury Publishers in 2014.In her current engagement as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Sustainability, she is furthering the research base of her doctoral work in the broad area of qualitative research and education for sustainable development including significance of Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), business sustainability, faculty and student experiences with courses on sustainability and so on. She has written more than 25 research papers, book chapters and popular articles published in peer-reviewed national and international journals by publishers like Springer, Emerald, Edward Elgar, Oxford University Press, and Business Standard and presented in national and international conferences at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, IIT Delhi, SIBM etc. By qualification, she is an MBA (Gold Medalist)and BBA Hons(Gold Medalist. Her teaching interests are general management, qualitative research and corporate accounting and finance.
