Climate Change is likely to be one of the most challenging issues mankind will face in the 21st century.  To involve and educate larger numbers of people in this area, and to provide professionals who, with the improved understanding that the Programme aims to impart to them, will help arrive at mitigation and adaptation strategies, TERI University is offering a programme leading to the award of an M.Sc degree in Climate Science and Policy.

The Programme, offered by the Department of Natural Resources, intends to create professional capability in assessing and managing the risks posed by climate change, but with a sound base in the science of the subject. The programme will build a strong foundation in the scientific arena as also in the economic dimensions of climate change policy, mitigation and adaptation strategies, delivered through a diverse range of courses in the two years of study. The master’s will also provide a structured route to research and development in the area.
